Outreach Ministry
Sharing Christ’s love in word and deed — transforming lives across South Sudan.
Faith in Action, Love in Service
The Community Outreach Ministry of the Baptist Convention of South Sudan (BCOSS) exists to make God’s love visible through practical acts of service. From evangelism to humanitarian assistance, BCOSS serves communities with compassion — bringing hope to those affected by poverty, displacement, and conflict. Every outreach activity is guided by our mission to proclaim the Gospel and meet human needs in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our Outreach Focus Areas
Through various ministries and projects, BCOSS reaches hearts and meets needs across communities.
Evangelism & Discipleship
Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through local church missions, open-air crusades, and discipleship programs.
Humanitarian Aid
Responding to crises by providing food, clothing, and shelter to vulnerable families, refugees, and internally displaced people.
Health & Wellness
Partnering with BCOSS’s Mobile Clinic team to bring medical services and health education to underserved communities.
Education & Literacy
Supporting community schools, adult literacy classes, and Christian education programs.
Peace & Reconciliation
Promoting forgiveness, healing, and unity through dialogue and community workshops.
Our Model of Ministry
BCOSS believes that transformation happens when spiritual and physical needs are addressed together.
Our outreach follows a holistic model that includes:
Proclaiming the Gospel — Bringing the message of salvation to all people.
Serving Communities — Meeting real needs with love and dignity.
Empowering Locals — Training communities to sustain change through leadership and participation.
Partnering in Hope — Collaborating with churches, NGOs, and partners to expand impact.
