Mission & Vision
Guided by faith, driven by purpose — everything we do begins and ends with glorifying God.
Why We Exist
The Baptist Convention of South Sudan (BCOSS) is built upon the call of Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20).
Our vision and mission flow from this divine commission — to proclaim the Gospel, nurture spiritual growth, and serve humanity with compassion and integrity.
BCOSS stands as a Christ-centered movement, transforming communities through faith, leadership, and service.
Scripture line (styled quote):
“Let everything you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
Our Vision
“To see its member churches spiritually mature, unified, established, effectively proclaiming Jesus Christ, reaching the lost, and glorifying God (Ephesians 4:11-16; Matt 28:19-20).“
BCOSS envisions a nation where every believer lives out the Gospel, every church multiplies in faith, and every community experiences the transforming power of God’s Word.
