Leading with Faith and Vision

The Baptist Convention of South Sudan (BCOSS) is led by a dedicated team of pastors and ministry leaders who serve with humility, integrity, and faith.

Our leadership reflects the unity and diversity of God’s people — men and women called to guide, disciple, and serve the body of Christ throughout South Sudan.

Together, they uphold our mission to make disciples, plant churches, and transform communities in the love of Jesus Christ.

Current National Leadership (2025 – 2029)

Elected during the recent BCOSS Convention, these leaders continue to guide the mission with wisdom, faith, and dedication.

Pastor Kaya David Daniel

Convention President

Provides overall vision and leadership for BCOSS, ensuring that the mission of evangelism, discipleship, and service is advanced across South Sudan.

Pastor John Manychol

Vice President

Supports the president in oversight of national and regional ministries, focusing on unity and spiritual growth.

Pastor Isaac Martin

General Secretary

Oversees administration, communications, and coordination of convention activities.

Pastor Kur Philip

Treasurer

Ensures transparent financial management and stewardship of BCOSS resources.

Pastor Nyumbo Clement

Team Leader – Men’s Ministry

Leads programs and discipleship for men within BCOSS churches.

Pastor Timothy Samson Makana

Team Leader – Children’s Ministry

Guides children’s ministry development and Sunday school training across local congregations.

Brother Isaac Wol Deng

Team Leader – Youth Fellowship

Mentors and mobilizes youth to live out their faith and serve in the church.

Sister Elizabeth Nyanwut Deng

Team Leader – Women’s Ministry

Empowers women through fellowship, leadership training, and community outreach.
